On November 13th, the film Le Mans 66 will be released on French screens (see trailer below). Directed by James Mangold, based on the adaptation of the book Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans by A. J. Bame (released in 2010), the film tells the story of the legendary rivalry between the Ford and Ferrari teams during the 1966 edition of the 24h of Le Mans with Matt Damon (Carroll Shelby) and Christian Bale (Ken Miles). On this occasion, A.C.O (automobile Club de l’Ouest) entrusted Félix Helmets with the creation and production of the helmet commemorating the release of the film. As result? A Jet ST520 Le Mans 66 Special Edition already collector and now available in the ‘Licences’ range from Félix Helmets.
Feel free to visit the superb official exhibition around this film at the Musée of 24h du Mans from October 21 to February 23 (see picture below).
